Lord Mayor Graham Quirk Algester State SchoolKeep Australia Beautiful prides its programs as being able to motivate people to enhance the quality of their local environment through personal initiative and community action.

The Brisbane's Spotless Suburbs competition, in partnership with Brisbane City Council and SITA Australia engages communities, schools and commercial enterprises in all of the 26 Brisbane wards to highlight their best and most spotless suburb.

Brisbane City Councillor's and community groups can nominate up to two suburbs for judging in seven categories:

-Pride: West Rugby Union Club
-Partnerships: Wilston Grange Business Community    
-Litter Management: Jambaree Heights Residents Association
-Judges "Litter Champion" Awards: Wayne Williams, Paul Hudson    
-Environmental Protection: Water Cress Farn Bushcare Group
-Young Legends: Wilston State School    
-Special Flood Recovery: Western District Netball Association
Judges Special Award: Rikki Bailey Park Bushcare Group

Brisbane Spotless Primary Schools 2012 Finalists and Overall Winner:
