Active Parks Program

Brisbane City Council's Active Parks program offers activities for all ages at more than 50 local parks across Brisbane. You can use our free or low cost activities to help improve your health, fitness and well-being.

The Active Parks program has exercise for all levels of ability so you can get a great workout or relax with some gentle exercise. Try out recreational tree climbing, join in a boxing class, get fit with Zumba or get out on the water with kayaking.

Chill Out Program

Chill Out is one of Brisbane's most popular youth programs with a great variety of free and low-cost recreation activities for kids and teenagers between 10 and 17 years old. If you're looking for school holiday activities in Brisbane, Chill Out has all sorts of things to do, including Laserforce, windsurfing, boot camp, running and martial arts.
 
Bookings are essential for most Chill Out activities. To make a booking or cancel, phone Council on 07 3403 8470. Council reserves the right to cancel an activity or refuse participants. If weather conditions are unsuitable, Council will phone to let you know.

Visible Ink

Visible Ink offers a variety of events and activities for teens and young people aged under 26.  Visible Ink gives you the opportunity to organise your own workshops, projects, events, businesses and community groups. Get on-site support from staff who can help with plan ideas and connect you with other people who can help.

Visible Ink Valley, located at 5 Green Square Close in Fortitude Valley, has spaces such as a rehearsal room, meeting room, public computer room and art space which you can use free of charge for a variety of projects
