The 2012/13 financial year budget includes a Ward Parks and Footpath Trust which has been allocated to each Councillor to spend on improvements across the City.

In Parkinson Ward there is $398,000 to build new footpaths and make local park improvements, as well as $19.7 million across the City towards footpath maintenance and rehabilitation works.
